#Upload Images or File in IMCE Server To upload Images or File in Files Server follow given steps, Note : To upload Images or File you need to login as AOK User.
- Click on 'Files Server' at the top Admin menu bar.
- It will open the Files Server at browser new tab,By default you are in the 'public://' root folder.
##Create New Folder To create Folder click on 'Neuer Ordner (New Folder)', it will open a pop up form. Add foldername which needs to create and click on 'Erstellen (Create)' button it will create a folder. Click on newly create folder to upload Images or File in the newly created folder.
Upload image or filw
To Upload Image or file click on 'Hochladen (upload)' -> click on plus button 'Datei hinzufugen (Add file)' -> Select File to upload. It will upload image or file.
Get URL of Uploaded Image or file
To get the url of the uploaded Images or File, click on the image or file at the right section of the server, once clicked you will get url of that clicked image or file at bottom. You can copy the url.
##System Generated Folders
There are some folders in the server which are system generated, **do not **upload any Images or File to these folders, Images or File will get deleted automatically. System generated folders list (css, js, styles, languages, php, translations).
Important Notes
- IMCE Files server is the single server used across all AOK Users, We need to make sure to upload Images or File with proper naming conventions & folder structures to identify the uploaded assets.
- AOK Users can not delete Images or File once uploaded. You need to contact administrator to delete the image.
- If you upload an image or file with same name, it will get upload by using image-name_0.jpg and get incremented if same image uploaded again in same folder. Ex (image.png it will be image_0.png, image_1.png & so on)
- While uploading image , make sure it is not exceed the size of 400kb so it will not cause the performance issue for the systems that are loading same image.
- Allowed image extensions are (png, jpg, jpeg, svg, webp, gif)
- While uploading file , make sure it is not exceed the size of 20MB so it will not cause the performance issue for the systems that are loading same file.
- Allowed file extensions is pdf
